• 1 cup almonds (soaked overnight)
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 date (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla powder (optional)
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder (optional- for chocolate milk!)


  1. Place the almonds and water into a blender and blend until smooth
  2. Sieve the mixture into a bowl. The liquid is your almond milk. You can use the pulp in smoothies, cookies, cakes etc.
  3. You can also do this in a cold pressed juicer. Just gradually add the almonds and water at the same time.
  4. If you are drinking this on its own, you can place it back into the blender and add organic vanilla powder, a date and possible some cinnamon or cacao powder (for chocolate milkshake :-) )
